How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Confirm with your password. Your account and all associated data is permanently removed within 14 days.

How do I block or report someone?

On any profile, tap the menu icon and choose Block (you'll never see them again) or Report. We review every report within 24 hours and take action — including removing content or banning accounts — as needed.

I'm not showing up in Nearby — what's wrong?

BUDU only lists people who have explicitly shared their GPS location. Open the app, make sure you've granted location permission, and pull-to-refresh the Nearby tab.

Is BUDU a dating app?

No. BUDU is for platonic, public-space networking — meeting collaborators, mentors, language partners, coworking buddies and travel friends. Solicitation or sexual content is not allowed.

How do credits work?

Credits are optional digital tokens used to unlock premium features. They are non-refundable and have no cash value outside the platform.

Tap Forgot password? on the login screen and we'll email you a reset link. The link is valid for 1 hour.
