When things get rough, the only way to push through is if you really love what you do and are committed to your vision.
*They’re Disciplined
Some days you’ll feel really energized and ready to conquer the world. Other days you’ll feel like staying in bed all day long. It’s really difficult to force yourself to do things when you don’t have a boss to control what you do. They are self-motivated and get things done even when they don’t feel like it.
* They Have Integrity
Any successful person understands that money comes and goes, but your reputation stays with you forever.
I do have to add a 4th one though because this one is one of the issues as to why the US are in trouble today. We need to think long-term, and forget about the Instant Gratification. We are investing into our own future and our kids future. Something that is short term will and can crumble anytime because it isn't solid and built up from the ground. So...
*They Think Long-Term
Successful people aren’t fooled by those stupid “get rich overnight” schemes. They focus on building something that will still be around in 20 or 50 years, not on getting some money to pay the bills next month.
And yes, I am...I am hardworking, long hours, have no real life right now and have not had in a long time, I am very resilient and systematic and methodical. Until Sept last year I had work 976 days straight without one single day off, which means no weekends off, I worked Christmas, New Years, birthday, holidays...every day. I didn't work 8 hours per day at the time, but I worked 7 days a week. Today I work at least 16 hours a day and have since before Christmas last year. I spent $220 000 on my ex, and wanted to gain that money back and have worked my little butt off since then... soon I can relax some.
